Prof Unaiza Niaz

Prof. Unaiza Niaz is a world-renowned psychiatrist, an academic and mental health leader of great distinction with over 30 years of clinical, teaching and research experience in Pakistan as well as internationally. Currently she is serving as Adjunct Professor, University of Health Sciences, Lahore and Director Psychiatric Unit & Stress Research Center Karachi.

Her clinical interests include psychotherapy, trauma-informed care and ethical psychiatric practice. She is esteemed for her role in women’s mental health, psycho-trauma, adolescent and child psychiatry, and stress-related disorders.

Prof. Niaz provides deeply empathic and scientifically grounded psychiatric care, integrating clinical sensibilities with academic rigor to deliver psychologically informed treatment options for his patients.
